Our second round of Arduino microelectronics classes start July 17 and 18th and continue until September. The Wednesday class will be for novice beginners while the Thirsday class will be a project lab. For folks without a project, we have four devices to build for the club, plus an open-ended arts project.
Please reserve your spot in the class and/or lab by using the form below…
The Wednesday class is a hands-on 6 day workshop where students will learn the basics of how to setup and use a microcontroller development system, and construct basic electronic circuits. No prior experience or knowledge is required. We are loosely following the online lesson plan at Adafruit. In the Thursday lab sessions, advanced students can work on projects including:
- Security alarm system
- HVAC thermostat control
- Telephone answering machine
- Club status tweet engine
Membership in Club125 is required. Course materials will be online (go green!). A small lab fee covers the expense of consumed components. Students may also choose to purchase their Arduino board or the entire project kit for use in their next project.
